About filters and restrictions

PaperCut MF offers filter options to allow administrators to restrict what users can do with the copier. Options available include:

• Restrict copier access to one or more user groups

• Restrict color copying to one or more user groups (only on selected models)

Each copier has its own set of restrictionsRestrictions are a type of print filter that ensures jobs meet certain criteria (denying those that don't). For example, you can restrict access to one or more printer, define a maximum number of pages allowed in a single job, or allow only duplex.. Not all options are available on all copier models.
